Non‑profit sector of R&D comprises civic associations and non‑profit organisations engaged in the area of R&D. These non‑profit organisations are eligible to receive public funding for research and innovation, provided they meet the relevant legal requirements. They are also listed in the Information system on Science and Research SK CRIS (www.skcris.sk) or on the EURAXESS Slovakia portal (Research Institutions | EURAXESS).

Support service in innovative processes development in SMEs and technology transfer is provided by the Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) Bratislava (www.bic.sk), which is a member of the Enterprise Europe Network (www.een.sk).
