If you are an EU/EEA/Swiss national that intends to stay in Slovakia for longer than 3 months, a notice of stay needs to be submitted to the foreign police office within 10 working days after your arrival to Slovakia. This is usually completed electronically by the accommodation host/provider if you are staying in a hotel, hostel, or dormitory. If you are staying in a rented apartment, the property owner may submit consent for the accommodation of a foreigner through an electronic filing. The submitted information must be confirmed by the applicant using a qualified electronic signature
